August 12, 2009- Christian's First Day of Kindergarten

A day of emotions for sure. As we were loading the car at 6:45AM we noticed we had missed a call from Pastor Steve Berger letting us know Josiah had been in a serious car accident. We headed to school, stopping a Cracker Barrell for a special breakfast and walked Christian in. He was all smiles as you can see. He is LOVING Kindergarten and his teacher. I am excited to have a little boy who truly loves learning and know he will do well this year...if they can keep his attention span!!

Josiah went to be with Jesus 3 days later. It was an amazing time of praying and begging God for a miracle. Steve said it best, that we asked to be given a miracle and we gave one instead. Josiah was an organ donor and 77 lives will be changed because of him. His homegoing service was amazing. His family is such a testimony to Christ already and an alter call was given at the memorial!!! You don't see that everyday. As Christian and Caroline say...Josiah is healed, he just lives with Jesus now. We can't wait to see him again!

Two Peas in a Pod

Saturday we took pictures of the babies. My extremely talented brother, Brandon Chesbro came over to take the photos and the babies performed perfectly..they were little pros. We got carried away and had so much fun!! Thanks Uncle Brandon!!!

Funny Christian Conversations

conversation number one:
Mommy: "Christian...you can give some of the coins in your piggybank to the offering at VBS"
Christian: "I don't really want to"
Mommy: "OK..well I don't want to make you, you just need to feel in your heart what you want to do"
Christian: "OK..well I want to give some but not any of my silver ones"

conversation number two: on the way to the zoo
Mommy: "Wow, the babies' have never been to the zoo"
Christian: "You know where else they have never been?"
Mommy: "Where?"
Christian: " The place where dreams come true" (meaning DisneyWorld)

OK...just playing with how this whole blogging thing works...Here is my family on 4th of July! This is our "funny picture" as Christian says. We had a blast at Kuku and Mimi's and watched fireworks even though it started raining!

Blogging to Make Memories

I realized last night when my sister inlaw told me I could make my blog a book that I should really use this advance in technology to make memories of this CRAZY time of life!!! So....here it goes....people may read it to see what we are up to but most of all this is for me to have to look back on and remember when the kids were little and I had just enough time to jot down here what went on that day. Here goes nothing....
