Wes got the job...Praise the Lord!

After months and months and months of interviews and flights and tests Wes, well God, gave Wes a new job. He will be working for Stryker Orthopaedics. Be careful if you need shoulder or knee surgery, Wes may be in the operating room!

Gentry's Farm 2009

As a tradition we always got to Gentry's Farm during October. This year we again got to go with Christian's school which is so nice. We played in the corn mazes, went on a hayride, went swinging on tire swings..so much fun! We even got to see a baby cow that had just been born! I always make the kids take a picture at the wagon in the front. It is so fun to see how they grow every year!

My cute Baby Boys!

Just pictures of the cutest twins on the block...and there are other twins down the street:-)

Baby Princesses

Caroline and her friend Libby were hanging with the boys...that's all I can say!

Christian's Birthday Part 2

OK...I am really behind but want these pics for the archive! Christian has his birthday "day" at the waterpark so on September 11 we just had a family party which is always a big deal as well. He started the day out at school where he recieved his "birthday book"! Mrs. Blue talked about what a great boy he is and said he was a very "unique individual"...that sure sums up Christian! Later that night we went to Kuku and Mimi's for the party! He played outside, opened gifts, has a Star Wars cake and had lots of fun! We love you our big 6 year old boy!!! Cannot believe it has been 6 years!

Twin Bath

The babies' baths were becoming a little like an assembly line so I tried them together in the tub with just a little water! This made for a more relaxing, spa like experience for the little guys. They loved it!!

Christian's Birthday Day!

Well...Christian is almost 6 and so we decided a one on one day was in order! We took the little daredevil to Nashville Shores. Funny how a day going up and down stairs all day in between going down slides and pumping was one of the most relaxing days I have had in awhile! He was REAL NERVOUS as we pulled in and he saw the 4 flights of stairs leading up to the slides. After much coaxing and actually threatening he got up his courage to go with me on the double tube down the first slide. After about 2 seconds in a still nervous shaky voice he said "Mom...knock knock"..I said "Who's there"...he said "Fun"...I said "Fun who"... to which he said "This is FUN"!!! The slide ended and immediatly he said "Let's do it again". All in all we had a blast and enjoyed being with our first born all day. He did say several times though.."Caroline would love this"..what a sweet brother!!! Happy Birthday Christian!

Wedding Anniversary and Dress Up

Tuesday was Wes and my 7th anniversary!!! So much had happened in the last 7 years. We have lived in 3 houses, had four children, Wes has had a couple jobs. Sometimes I feel like it was just yesterday and other times I can't even remember life before Wes:-) As Christian was at school Caroline and I went down memory lane and I showed her my wedding dress. Of course she LOVED it and wanted me to wear it while she wore her flower girl dress. I have not put that thing on in seven years. The tummy area was tight but I wore it long enough to snap a few pictures and Caroline really did think I was a princess!!!

August 12, 2009- Christian's First Day of Kindergarten

A day of emotions for sure. As we were loading the car at 6:45AM we noticed we had missed a call from Pastor Steve Berger letting us know Josiah had been in a serious car accident. We headed to school, stopping a Cracker Barrell for a special breakfast and walked Christian in. He was all smiles as you can see. He is LOVING Kindergarten and his teacher. I am excited to have a little boy who truly loves learning and know he will do well this year...if they can keep his attention span!!

Josiah went to be with Jesus 3 days later. It was an amazing time of praying and begging God for a miracle. Steve said it best, that we asked to be given a miracle and we gave one instead. Josiah was an organ donor and 77 lives will be changed because of him. His homegoing service was amazing. His family is such a testimony to Christ already and an alter call was given at the memorial!!! You don't see that everyday. As Christian and Caroline say...Josiah is healed, he just lives with Jesus now. We can't wait to see him again!

Funny Christian Conversations

Christian: "I don't really want to"
Mommy: "OK..well I don't want to make you, you just need to feel in your heart what you want to do"
Christian: "OK..well I want to give some but not any of my silver ones"

conversation number two: on the way to the zoo
Mommy: "Wow, the babies' have never been to the zoo"
Christian: "You know where else they have never been?"
Mommy: "Where?"

OK...just playing with how this whole blogging thing works...Here is my family on 4th of July! This is our "funny picture" as Christian says. We had a blast at Kuku and Mimi's and watched fireworks even though it started raining!

Blogging to Make Memories

I realized last night when my sister inlaw told me I could make my blog a book that I should really use this advance in technology to make memories of this CRAZY time of life!!! So....here it goes....people may read it to see what we are up to but most of all this is for me to have to look back on and remember when the kids were little and I had just enough time to jot down here what went on that day. Here goes nothing....
